egg (acrylics realism study)

I don't eat eggs, I paint them )
acrylics and little of oil paint in finish.
Its the first time I painted with acrylics and it was a real challenge for me after oils. Most of the time I didn't paint, but fought with acrylics's flighty behavior, the signs of what remained as streaks in the bottom. First 2 sessions I was sure its impossible to paint anything realistic with this medium at all, but then ... I found it really great for layering technique (you don't have to wait or to think which paint is opaque or transparent) . Still acrylics don't give this juicy life-like effect, as oils do...
